But they couldn’t do this on their own – our range of high-quality STIHL chainsaw accessories is what makes our saws so versatile. This includes aids that support you in your work and when performing maintenance on your chainsaw. We also offer various solutions for your protection during use, and the protection of the chainsaw itself.

STIHL SAW CHAINS AND GUIDE BARS

When it comes to maximum precision and precise cuts in any work situation, we offer saw chains and guide bars for extraordinarily wide-ranging types of use, always in the very best quality and with coordinating components. We develop and produce our cutting attachments ourselves, enabling us to always offer the best possible outcome in terms of cutting performance, guidance and kickback characteristics, and resistance to wear.

STIHL guide bars help you to convert engine performance into cutting performance as effectively as possible. All of our models boast clever technology and a sophisticated lightweight design to keep them balanced however you use them, whether you’re harvesting or carving wood, or chopping firewood.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

We recommend wearing the personal protective equipment specified in the operating instructions while you’re using STIHL chainsaws. Depending on the respective application, this includes safety boots, cut protection trousers, work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, helmet sets and much more. The cut protection clothing is very comfortable to wear and is always tested under practical conditions.

PROTECTION FOR YOUR CHAINSAW

Once your work is done or it’s time to move to the next site, you need to make sure that you transport your chainsaw in such a way that it is safe and clean. Rule number one after use: always attach the scabbard. This will protect you against injury, protect the saw chain from dirt and reduce oil consumption at the same time. If your model has a particularly long bar, simply use our scabbard extension. This protects bars longer than 90 cm. If your chainsaw bar is less than 45cm long, you can also use other STIHL accessories, such as our durable chainsaw case or the versatile STIHL chainsaw carry bag.

ENERGY FOR SMOOTH OPERATION

Various fuels are available for your STIHL petrol chainsaws. These leave very few residues and minimise wear. Thanks to our filling system, it’s easy and safe to fill your chainsaw. Our engine oils such as the STIHL HP Ultra two-stroke engine oil feature excellent lubrication properties. We offer various chain oils for optimum chain lubrication and to protect the chain against wear, such as STIHL BioPlus chain oil.

Other accessories for STIHL chainsaws, including batteries and battery chargers relevant for your model are also available.

SAWING AIDS FOR COMFORTABLE WORK

The right bracket makes it possible to mount certain STIHL accessories on your chainsaw without a need for tools – one example is the STIHL 2-in-1 laser. You can use the laser to reliably check the direction of fall and to cut pieces of wood to equal lengths with ease.
